This one-of-a-kind item is made from the stumps and unused trunks of harvested teak trees, from ecologically managed forests. Once the tree is harvested, the remaining stumps must be removed to make space to plant replacement trees. In the past, these pieces would be harvested and then burned to dispose of them.
